Responsibilities:
- Design and estimate fire alarm systems in accordance with industry standards and regulations.
- Collaborate with clients to assess their needs and provide tailored fire alarm solutions.
- Must be NICET Certified.
- Prepare detailed project specifications and cost estimates.
- Review and analyze project plans and specifications for accuracy.
- Coordinate with contractors and vendors to ensure project timelines and budgets are met.
- Stay updated on fire alarm technology trends and regulatory changes.
- Provide technical support and guidance during installation and commissioning phases.
- Conduct site visits to assess existing systems and recommend upgrades or replacements.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in fire alarm design and estimation for 5+ years
- Knowledge of NFPA codes and local fire safety regulations.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficiency in design software and estimation tools.
- NICET Certification
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and quality.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Compensation: $1.00 - $1.00 per week
